"I have always been drawn to the power of music and its ability to connect and inspire people. When I was 4 years old I would crawl under my parents pool table to hide while I cried over songs that moved me, so I learned from a very young age that music was extremely powerful and a gift to possess. Growing up, I found solace and purpose in creating and performing music, constantly singing around the house and writing albums of music in my head whilst flying back and forth on the swing my dad built for me. It was my dream to share my voice and original music with the world then, and it is my dream still.

My journey began as a singer when I began playing guitar at 4 years old. I immediately began writing songs to play along with, although the guitar was missing several strings I recall! Seeing my desire to perform and make lots of noise, my parents entered me into Performing Arts School where I studied many forms of Dance and Musical Theatre, which led me to the stage from the tender age of 8. I sang and performed in many theatre production tours. I began piano lessons and my father bought me my first upright piano which had a few keys missing! Following on from this I began exploring the talent show scene where I learned a lot about myself as a young growing artist. Mainly that talent shows are good experience and can be fun - and that's probably about it.

I explored different genres and styles, always striving to improve and push myself out of my comfort zone. Although I always found myself leaning back into Heavy Rock/Southern Country Rock/Folk as this was the music I was raised on by my mother, who was a country singer herself in the early 80s. Both my parents offered me quite the musical environment and my father would encourage me to listen to everything from Led Zeppelin to Mozart, which I most gladly did. I would draw inspiration from lots of artists and learn what I could from them. I would not stop singing particular songs until I was happy I had conquered the vocal challenges found there.

I eventually made the decision to pursue music professionally. I began performing in local venues, festivals and open mic nights. With each performance, I learned more about myself as a singer and performer, and continued to evolve. This evolution continues today as I think it's important to always focus on improving your craft and understand your limitations, but remain true to your own organic sound and authentic self.

Since then, I have gone on to release my original music and have had the opportunity to collaborate with talented artists. The beauty of being a singer is the ability to convey emotion and tell stories through lyrics and melodies. I have been blessed to have a platform to express my own experiences, as well as touch the hearts of my listeners with the deep emotion that appears to live in my voice.

My ultimate goal is to inspire others, just as music has done for me. I have many stories to tell that have not yet hit paper. But they will. . .

I am grateful for every opportunity to share my love for music with the world, and I am excited to see where this journey takes me next.
